What does it mean to be a BCD student? BCD Students Are... Caring.
Community service is a big part of the BCD experience--and it starts at the Preschool level.

“BCD is a beautiful place where children can be children. It’s a tight-knit community that fosters forward thinkers and good citizens.”– BCD Elementary School teacher
On Monday, March 1st, a dedication ceremony was held to name the Boulder Country Day
Middle School after Scott Alexander, an outstanding educator who brought vision and strength to Boulder Country Day.
During his six years at BCD, Scott shaped the lives of hundreds of students, both in the classroom and beyond. The exceptional program he developed is a credit to his strong visionary leadership and his commitment to the future of the Middle School. In his soft spoken and dedicated manner, Scott Alexander always set the standards high for the students and embodied a passion for education that makes BCD’s Middle School what it is today. We are proud to have held this event and to be able to dedicate our Middle School to such a wonderful individual.
