Dear BCD Parents,
Your child’s safety and security is always a priority at Boulder Country Day.
All employees of the school go through extensive national and regional background checks. This year BCD is requiring background screenings for school volunteers. It is a common practice in organizations that serve children: Boulder Valley School District, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, YMCA, Boulder Force Soccer and others.
Regular Volunteers are required to complete an online background screening process including, but not limited to, those who help at school in the following activities:
Occasional Volunteers are not required to complete the online background screening process. The school will conduct a minimal background screening for those individuals as appropriate. This category includes, but is not limited to, those who help in the following activities:
To conduct these volunteer background screenings, BCD is using TC logiQ, the same company utilized by the Boulder Valley School District. The link below will connect those who anticipate being a Regular Volunteer at the school to the TC logiQ website. There is no cost to you to complete this process. A few days after the background screening is completed, individuals will receive a pass/fail notification. If the person passes, TC logiQ will provide that information to BCD. If the person receives a fail notification, he or she will have the opportunity to dispute that information with TC logiQ.
To connect to the TC logiQ website, please use the following link: https://www.tclogiq.com/bcdsv
Boulder Country Day values volunteers. We appreciate your taking a few minutes to complete the screening process. If you have any questions, please contact Ann-Marie Tewey in BCD’s business office, (303) 527-4931, Ext. 228 or atewey@bouldercountryday.org.
Sincerely,
Mike Shields
Head of School
